80's TV shows: Small Wonder and Out of this World

I used to watch two shows in the 80's Small Wonder about this guy who worked for a computer company and smuggled a robot home to live with his family.
The other ones was about a hot chick whos dad was an alien and she could clap her thumbs and stop time. I never see any re-runs anymore.

I used to love those two shows! I think the dad on "Small Wonder" actually built Vicki because he wanted to have another child. The kid who played the son on the show was, perhaps, the most annoying child actor of all time, along with the girl who played the annoying next-door-neighbor, Harriet. Near the end of the show's run, they had Vicki discover an evil twin cousin, Tiffany, who was played by the same actress.

"Out of This World" starred the "Saturday Night Fever" actress Donna Pescow. Doug McClure also was on the show. He was, supposedly, the inspiration for the Troy McClure character on "The Simpsons."

These were two shows I never missed as a child, but I'm sure if I saw them now, they would make me vomit.

Out of This World" starred the "Saturday Night Fever" actress Donna Pescow. Doug McClure also was on the show. He was, supposedly, the inspiration for the Troy McClure character on "The Simpsons." Troy McClure was a composite of Doug McClue and Troy Donahue. Plus the voice of the alien father on Out of this World was provided by Burt Reynolds.
