... and people say we should slip in a bucket of AIDS!
I can't stand that friggin' show?
I just see them as the Backstreet Boys of the 70s.

Hard to believe Stephen Stills failed an audition to be a Monkee.
Actually, Mike Nesmith made some decent music with The First National Band.

Dude I'm 26 and I spent a lot of happy summers watching Monkees reruns. Their themesong was the first song where I actually noticed chord changes. The REAL Monkees rule!
Stop asking the Fiend how he feels! He never feels good and he hates you ALL!!

Now this begs the question...
How long would it take to train Mickey Dolenz to kill Peter Tork with a switchblade?

Sorry Rooster, got to dissagree, the show was fun, tunes were written by some of the best tunesmiths around, changed the marketing of pop music, and ..when they toured N.Y. opening act an unknown Jimi Hendrix. If you were talking about Green Monkeys, sorry, that would be poetic justice. <P>

I'm with Rooster on this one. Their show was uninteresting and it was just plain retarted. And i hope Davey Jones slips on a pool of Aids and Cracks his head on Hep C. Man i'm evil and cruel.

I used to love Davey Jones...ahh...so dreamy!
davey is a little full of himself. I used to be totally in love with Micky. i used to have a micky dolenz shrine. What a hunk! That show was fucking hysterical. My favorite episode was the Fairy Tale one, where they used cardboard as scenery and mike was the princess with his huge sideburns.
Jack Nicholson helped write their movie Head. Kind of a wierd movie, but the soundtrack was fucking awesome.

The Monkees were great. The music is much better than the crap that is out to today.
Steppin stone is a great garage punk song.
We want Ron and Fez live in DC.
