I'm sure many of you will recall Hosp's tale of terror from which his status is derived. I bring you a new equally disturbing tale from this weekend...read on with caution.

This weekend my brother, his girlfriend & 2 of their friends decided to take a trip down to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. We live in CT so its about a 2 hour hike to get down there. Now, upon entering the park's parking lot they encountered a 45 minute line of cars. Just as they started approaching the five minutes left mark a white man, in his 40's driving an Audi speeds up to the front of the line and tries to cut my brother's girlfriend off.

The man proceeds to honk, flip them off and almost hit his girlfriends car. My brother calmly rolls down his window and asks the man what he thinks he's doing. The guy mutters something about being in the wrong line and needing to get over. (clearly this wasn't true as he sped up from the pack in the back of the line) My brother proceeds to CALMLY tell the man that its too bad, he's going to have to get in behind them as they've been waiting nearly 45 minutes.

Here's the kicker: this man puts his car in park and gets out of his car walking over to my bro's girlfriend's car, my brother leaves his window down as he's not one to go quietly (by the same token he's rarely rude or rowdy) the man reaches in the car, palms my brothers face and slams his head into the head rest three times. Yes, he assaulted my brother. Security guards had to come over and break up the man and he put a HUGE & DEEP scratch on my brothers face.

The man was banned for life from the park but my brother never got his information and therefore can not press charges. What the fuck is wrong with people these days?!?! When did everyone lose all sense of how to properly conduct oneself in public and what the hell happened to manners? PEOPLE ARE GODDAMNED ANIMALS!

That's terrible Gwen! I'm suprised none of you got out and jumped on the asshole, but it probably happened really fast and I guess 2 wrongs don't make a right...but that is messed up. That is terrible you can't press charges, but if the guy is banned for life and they don't have his info, how will they know if he comes back? Anyway, I hope everyone is fine and next time, if I'm with you, I'll be packing heat and you won't have that problem again! lol

Sorry to hear about that Gwen. I hope your brother is OK. Maybe you should contact the park to see if they have his information. It's amazing how people get the balls to assault someone over waiting in a line!

HEY - that isn't the locals acting like that. I've been going there ever since it opened, it wasn't always like this. There was a time when you could go there and have a really good time. Hell, I remember when you could sneak into the park through the woods, and they used to serve beer there too!

I'm terribly sorry to hear that Gwen, that certainly is fucked up. Have no fear, I'll make one phone call, find out who this guy is, and have him sleeping with the fish in no time.

I have a friend who works in security at Six Flags. If you want me to look into it, give me a yell.

At the very least, if you can't hassle the guy who beat up your brother, you can just calmly threaten six flags with a lawsuit. You can probably get some sort of restitituion w/o going to the courts. After all, the assault happened on THEIR property, their security team could not prevent your brother for getting hurt because their security did not prevent and/or stop the guy from cutting you off.

Therefore, as long as you didn't sign anything against six flags, you might be able to get something out of it at the very least.

Very good point Ten. My dad is a personal injury lawyer and sometimes just a phone call threatening something is enought to get some info or something out of them. It would make them look REALLY dumb if they banned someone and didn't get his name at least!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Im not 100% sure what my brother & mom are gonna do (my bro is a minor so he can't proceed on his own). HOpefully my brother will remember to call six flags today.

I'm with you, civility in this country has gone the way of the dinosaurs. And I'm sure that there were many small children in that line who witnessed what this douchebag (apt description Alice) did. He needs to be taken down...hard.

it has gone down the toliet.

a combination of incompent guests (like the who assulted your brother), lazy security and careless employees.

Now im sure i wont be going to Great Adventure anytime soon.

What happened to the great park i used to visit once or twice a summer?

Since it has left the ownership of Time Warner, the parks have been on the decline.

This is not limited to Six Flags Great Adventure.

I went to the one in chicago a few years ago and i encountered rude employees, line cutters, and a dirty place. (on top of the high ass prices to buy shit in the park)

no wonder why my brother tells me it soo bad. (he works at Disney World, go fig)

And this is also why i bring my camera almost everywhere i go

Astroworld, here in Houston, is the ghetto of Six Flags parks. I refuse to go anymore. The one in Dallas is still OK.

There is no way SIx flags can enforce a life time ban. If the man goes and pays cash for his admission how are they supposed to know he's even there?

If it weren't for my season pass I wouldn't be going any more this year. But I've switched to going to the New England park more. Most of the day in the waterpark then a couple of rides on the coasters before heading home is just enough for me.

First of all, something like that would not get to court, therefore not causing the clogging of civil courts. It would definitley be settled out of court if anything.

Secondly, Six Flags kicked the man off the property before they could get his information to press CRIMINAL charges which according to you is the only point in which justice would be served. I agree fault lies on the man and not the Park, but it was their fault she can not continue by pressing charges against HIM.

by "courts" i don't just mean the "courtroom".

Any time you file any type of lawsuit paper work needs to be filed and valuable time is being taken

Just cause a case doesn't make it to trial does not mean it doesn't cause conjestion within the system.

that suggests to me at least that Six Flags DOES have the information and hopefully Gwen's brother will pursue this matter further.

Well guys, shitty news, the Park never acutally took the man's information. A security cart followed him out of the park to make sure he left for at least that time, but Im sure later that day he went right back in.

I have the feeling they only told my mother that he was banned for life because they wanted to calm her down. Fuckers.

Finally, no restituion is being sought from the park by my brother or mom. The simple fact is, the park didnt acutally have anything to do with the incident and secondly my brother never wants to go back there again. He said he's just gonna stick to six flags in Massachusetts from now on 'cause its nicer (and the same distance).

I still think people are animals. Look for Gwen's rant on manners later this week.

I am sorry to hear that happened to your brother but on a more personal note if someone approached me the way this guy did I would have of gotten out and put some of that Kung fu I do to use...that is definetly an instance where my family and myself would be threatend...the story would have a sadder end for that savage and his family cause they would be punished for him to "embrace the pain"...
