The InVasion could be been great. Bring in Nash, Hall, Hogan, Flair and Bischoff then and it probably could have worked.

Also Goldberg would have helped.

Combining ECW and WCW wasn't that bad of an idea, but bringing Steph in totally killed the angle.

That was classic. Angle rules.

Steph can kill any angle. In seconds. By just opening her mouth.

Of the two, I would have to say the Invasion. Because it had such potential, but thanks to Vince, the writers, and some of the WWF wrestlers unwilling to put over the WCW / ECW talent *coughundertakercough*, the Invasion was a failure.

nWo was actually MORE of a complete failure as an angle, but then the potential and expectation wasn't there. The Invasion could have been one of the biggest & best storylines in the history of pro-wrestling. The nWo angle was pretty awful from the beginning, and there wasn't much they could have done to save it.

No. Not at all.

That's pretty much why I always preferred WCW to WWE. Hell, most ANYTHING compared to WWE. The focus has not been on the actual wrestling in the WWE for quite some time.

The invasion angle. The invasion of WCW was ruined when after being beaten up by his own guys.... Shane McMahon turned on the undertaker and turned the entirety of WCW heel.

The ECW invasion was ruined by Stephanie McMahon.

The nWo angle sucked, but the invasion is #3 as for reasons why the WWE is on a decline.

#1 being the loss of Vince Russo making Stephanie McMahon the head booker and #2 being Raw going to TNN. Raw's ratings dropped a full point from week to week when they went to TNN. The WWE also has to deal with Viacom now. USA used to let the WWF get away with anything because the WWF was the backbone of the whole f'ing network. It was their one program that they could point at the ratings and be proud.
