Tonight I had the most miserable experience of my life with these assholes, and I GUARANTEE tomorrow they will feel my wrath.

I had the misfortune of breaking down in NYC at 7PM, with JerseyRich as my passenger. After calling AAA and telling them I needed a tow, I was told I'd be getting a call back within 15 minutes. It never came. A half hour later, I called AAA again. They assured me a truck was on it's way, and would be there in 20 minutes. It, too, never came.

The sons of bitches kept promising me a tow truck would be arriving "within 20 minutes" whenever I called. 3 and a half hours later, a truck finally arrived. The driver had a buddy with him, so JerseyRich and I had to squeeze into the front seat of a pickup with 2 other grown men. I had the edge of the seat up my ass crack for the entire 35 minute ride. The driver also insisted on blaring some truly God awful reggae, and seemed to have a very difficult time discerning the difference between "right" and "left".

Upon finally arriving at my house, I was informed my charge was $86! What the fuck good is having AAA, I ask you? I could have called any tow service and paid a similar price, and I wouldn't have had to wait as long. I probably would have been treated more professionally, also, and not been subjected to shitty music played at an obscene volume.

Words cannot do justice to just how livid I am after tonight's events, and tomorrow morning some poor schmuck at AAA is going to have to listen to me tear him a new asshole. I almost feel sorry for him.

The only bright spot of the whole night was when I paid the driver exact change. Fuck him too.

I've only had good experiences with AAA. Also, I thought they didn't charge for towing.. unless it's some sort of deal where they'll tow you to a servce station but not your house.

Three and a half hours in a car with Rich? I bet the floor of your car was littered with used condoms and empty tubes of KY.

That sucks Gvac! I would be pissed to. Although, I do have AAA and have only had to use it twice and I didn't really have a problem with them. I would definitley complain though.

If it's a woman that answers are you going to rip them a new asshole too?

It's free within like 5 miles of where your car is. And I'm sure they found something to fill up the time...I bet a truck came within the first 30 min. but gvac a j.r. were "busy" and they had to wait for the next one.

My first experience with AAA was similar. My car was overheating due to a faulty thermostat. I pulled over to let it cool off, and when it started again, I called AAA. I was only about 5-10 miles from home at about 11:30pm.

They said 30-45 mins. After 2 more calls to them (where they assured me a truck was on the way), I finally called them and told them to cancel the truck and drove the car straight to my mechanic's place, about 1 mile from my house. The time? 2:30am.

I gave them a nice little verbal assault on the phone, and the next 2 times I called up, once for a lockout and once for a tow, a truck was there under 10 mins.

Maybe they respond faster when it's a female calling, b/c like I said, my experiences have been good...But then again so did ADF...Hmmm, well, yeah, I bet they respond faster when a female calls.
