Last night I took a cab home and as I was getting off the curb to get into the cab, I landed wrong on the cobblestone street and twisted my ankle. Good thing the pain was swimming upstream from the margueritas we had. My ankle is swollen and all bruised. I can put weight on it so I'm pretty sure I didn't break it.

i did the same thing a few months ago (your fellow spaz)... it's probably sprained. if it's painful to walk on, you should go to the dr and get a soft cast. they are so great. it's amazing how mcuh better it feels walking with a little more ankle support. also, there are some excercises you can do to strenthen it up again... hope you're feeling better

Sorry to hear that Alice hope you feel better. Believe me I've been a clutz a couple of times. I twisted my ankle too, step on a piece of glass on my right foot, and dislocated my left knee.
