One day my mother and I were i guess walking in the parking lot of the mall or something and she looked at me and said "THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR YOU" and I was like 'HUH? WHA?' and she pointed and I was like "WHOA"...that comment really was a harsh blow and a low blow but I had like the wind knocked outta me.

i am a single person, and from those that have seen me you know what to think. But i find it extremely hard to even find someone willing to even go to meet me. jesus christ, if i get a date, its like, "What the hell did i do?" I am not the most handsome guy out there, but have do have a hart, and i know what to do with it. But even with that said, its damn near impossible to find someone to date or just hang out with. oh well, looks like this is rant 106 for me.

I think someone would only hate it if they were a superficial person. Not that theres anything wrong with that, because it works for a lot of people.

You may be in some sort of denial, but I don't think very many un-superficial people make statements like that. That might give you a hint about why you're single.

i have two friends that took a couple of whacks with the ugly stick. he is 5'2, at least 200 pounds, long hair that sticks out in every direction, and he only showers maybe once or twice a week. he's kind of odd, but he has a heart of gold. she is maybe 5'8 or so, kinda chubby, bad acne and a personality to go with the acne. they met in college and got together, now they're married and have a baby. we used to joke around hoping that they wouldnt reproduce, but so far the kid is kinda cute. maybe ugliness skips a generation, or maybe two uglies make one cutie.

Well... you SHOULD be happy.... but come on. Everyone knows that when you're in a relationship, you're happy for the couples you see. And when you're single, it just reminds you of how single you are.

Err, at least that's how it is for me..

But on the original topic... I'm no spiffy looker myself, but I have someone amazing... there's always someone out there for ya. And of course, there will be a bunch of wrong someones, and the right someone. Hell, the wrong someones seem like the right one till you know better.... I'm rambling... point is, seeing someone who isn't so attractive, happy with someone else, is no reason to think you're an awful monster.
