Cell Phones, I'm thinking of switching...

...providers. I currently have sprint and I am thinking about changing to Nextel...does anyone have Nextel or is there a service they really like. It MUST have nation wide long distance. I have heard so many different things I thought I would ask you guys.

i have cingular....i had verizon but they fucked me over big time...cingular rocks adn its a cute lil phone as well

I literally just went through the process of switching cell phone companies and if there's one thing I've learned it's this: DO NOT USE AT&T, THEY SUCK!!!! I for one say go with Verizon. They have amazing service, they have nation wide long distance, and they offer a variety of plans which you can switch at any time without a fee, hope I helped you.. <P>

NOT ENOUGH ANYTIME MINUTES!! I have 2500 night and weekend and never use them, I just want to spend my money on something I need. I love Sprint except for that.

how much are you paying a month?

If you live in the NYC area you can get 350 anytime mins and 3150 night and weekend mins for 34.99 a month.

It includes nationwide long distance...but you must use the phone in the states of NY, NJ and CT.
If you leave those states and make long distance calls you will be charged.

have you also looked at 39.99 nationwide plans with 4000 mins??

(im so pathetic, i even do sale pitches ONLINE!!)

well I have verizon, and I love
them; I switch my plan like all the
time to take advantage of their
newset offer, so right now I pay
$39.99 a month for 300
minutes/unlimited night &
weekend minutes with
nationwide longdistance, and
also since I travel a lot it is good
because there are no roaming
charges in most of the US (go to
their website for a map of
coverage) - I get my messenger
so I can get emails on my phone,
and I can web browse too
though I have admittedly never
tried that. pluse every two years
they will either give yuou a new
phone or a $100 credit towards a
new phone. I can't really
compare it directly to other
services but my boyfriend and my
father both have AT&T and I
always get a much better
reception than they do...

i had cellular one then they became cingular and they stunk.... i have had verizon for the last year and a half and they rock..... best service ever..... nextel blows nuts.. but that damn two way is cool.....
