The ROCK overacts!

MAN! So I tuned into the WWE(that still sounds weird) last night for Smackdown, and I saw the Rock return. And what a crappy show! IN MY OPINION, he thinks he's an actor now, so he tries WAY too hard. He just ends up stuttering and fumbling his own words, and acting like a dumbass.

And could that Busta Rhymes have BEEN a LONGER commercial? 10 minutes, and it went NO WHERE! And they didn't even sing a full song!

Plus, I must have utered the phrase "WHO THE FUCK IS THAT" about 10 times. SO MANY new guys, and no one cares.

smackdown always blew, and it always will.

and I saw the Rock return. And what a crappy show! IN MY OPINION, he thinks he's an actor now, so he tries WAY too hard. He just ends up stuttering and fumbling his own words, and acting like a dumbass.
i never thought of the rock as a very good wrestler. and he has defiantly been losing any abilities he once had by taking all this time off to peruse a movie career. his mic skills saved him in my opinion, but now he seems to be losing them also.

i'm the same way. it probably would have helped if a watched wcw and/or ecw, but they always looked so horrible that i couldn't stand to watch.

Oh, I didin't mean I didn't LIKE someone being nice, I'm just not used to it.

But didn't that Pants Puppet line feel pretty good? Secretly?

And Dark Hippie, I agree that some of these things were cool about the Rock a few months or even years ago. But now, he's not as funny. He runs through his lines poorly, and just seems less prepared to me these days. Again, I think he's under the impression he's some sort of professional Actor and amazing Improv comedian. He needs to sit down, and THINK carefully about his stuff, so we can enjoy the great thing he USED to say. Plus, how long can he live of his old sayings?

But it doesn't matter because after I heard Bishoff was hired by Vince, I will NEVER check out wrestling again.
