CTC, I happen to think 'Mars Attacks' is a highly underrated movie, much like 'The Cable Guy', so you're not alone. As for Rod Steiger, he was a great American actor, up there with the likes of Brando, and although he did win an Oscar(tm), I'm not sure he quite gets the credit he deserves.

"Mars Attacks" was an excellent movie...its was supposed to look stupid...

And any alien that shoots Micheal J. Fox is a pal o' mine...plus when the aliens destroy congress was funny as hell...
