i just quit smoking for the second time and failed..... i usually last around three months and then i just give in and start smokin butts again.....they say the average is three times so im almost there. <P>
As for weed.... i dont buy it too often....but ill rarely turn it down at a party or if a friend offers. <P>

I've been smoking for 10 years (since I was 13) I started with Marlboro Reds (smoked those hellish things for 5) and have weaned my way down to lights, and now ultra lights. I just decided last week that its time to quit - cigarette prices are getting crazy and I went to a concert and couldn't even jump around for more than 5 minutes without losing my breath.

but i love my ciggies and it will be fuckin hard to do - i think at first im gonna try to just smoke when I go out. I can't not smoke when I'm drinking.

I stopped smoking weed a few years ago, but sometimes if i'm really drunk I'll smoke it

I, too, bear the Scarlet S. Missy, you took the words right out of my mouth. Been smoking since 15. Started with Marlboro Reds, went through the whole line of potencies to finally arrive at Merit Ultra Lights. Yes, Granny cigs. The regular size just weren't satisfying enough, so now I get 100's. When I'm just sitting around the house, I clip them, so instead of smoking 2, it's really only 1. This probably doesn't help at all, but I feel less guilty.

I love my cigarettes. The only truth I've ever found in this world is in one of those little white bastards. I started on Newports, when I was 13, went to Marlboro Menthol lights when I started coughing up bloody phlegm in the shower, and now I've been smoking Newport Lights for about 6 years, I would guess. They're more important to me than food, drink, entertainment, money, you name it.

I smoked for a year and a half while I was in college (mostly Marlboro lights). One winter during that time, I got something like 4 colds and bronchitis that lasted for 6 weeks. That was enough to get me to quit. <P>
