I was at work going
from one building to the other
which means I was using the
subway. On my way back to the
main building there was this
kid going from train cart to
train cart playing the violin.
He was about 12 years old. He
played for about 40 seconds
and I must say he was amazing.
I was at the end of the train
cart so I was one of the last
people to give him money. I
was going to give him 25 cents
buuut by the time he got to me
he already collected at least
9 bucks. I mean everyone was
giving him singles and when
they gave him change they gave
him a lot. Well, anyway I
decided since he was getting
more money than me in a day
(He got 9 bucks in 3 minutes
you do the math.) I decided
not to give him anything. In
fact I considered taking out a
cup and asking him for money.
So I came back to work and
told people about this and
they yelled at me for not
giving him the quarter I
originally planned on giving
him. What do you think
