I'm sure that there is a tumor of cancer and Topps pink bubblegum growing in my colon.
Anyone else eat that gum?

I ate it sometimes. Why was their gum with the cards anyways?

The cards actually tasted better, and were much easier to chew.

It seemed like it tasted the best when I was a kid, but now I can feel my teeth rotting away just thinking of it!!
memory-wise, i still think it's the best.

I did.

No wonder you're a little off Heckler! Did you eat paint chips as a child too?! :)
My personal favorite was big league chew and candy cigarettes. Gee, I wonder if the government would allow those candies to be pushed to children in this day and age? lol

I always ate the Topps gum. I think Fleer had gum with their cards for a while but that gum sucked.
Taking the gum out of the packs and doing away with the wax wrapper took some of the challenge out of doing a hand collated set since you don't have to check for gum stains or wax stains anymore.
Factory sets took all the challenge out of card collecting.
If they brought back 25 cent wax packs, I might get back into collecting.

If you drive home fishy, you could be the Catch of the Day.
You could break your teeth on that piece of bubblegum flavored linoleum they included in every pack.
Of course I ate it.

I remember buying a pack of cards that was about 10 years old at the time, and there was gum in it. I was used to eating it, so I just blindly threw it in my mouth, and started to chew. HOLY SHIT! I NEVER knew gum could get rock hard, dark pink/red looking, and totally flavorless.
