I don't remember from last year if the field had home base because I didn't play. If anyone from last year played, can you remember??

I would bring 4 bases to be on the safe side.

I know this is a little late, but I posted this info in another thread before I saw this one....I have catcher's masks, 3 bases & home plate (most public fields just have the little plastic string sunk into the dirt where home should be) and even some catcher's gear. The gear won't fit any bigger fellas, but if a smaller girl wants to catch, she should be able to strap on at least the chest protector & cover her important parts, and maybe even the shinguards. I also have softballs, the kind that are solid but not dangerous, I just hate playing with the "Clinchers" because they come off the bat like they are egg-shaped and don't move in straight lines at times.
