watching the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on TV?

Yes I watched it all, hosted by Rob Lowe...I don't mind watching it and the bit of corniness than segwayed into the coverage...but the fact that I actually watched fireworks on television saddens me. It's just not the same looking at it in person. Sure it's my own fault and whatnot for staying in, but I'll complain anyway.

Anyone else do anything horrible pathetic on their day off?
