This weekend I did something I haven't done in a while. I went to back to back nights of wrestling events.
Saturday night I went to the Garden. A decent card highlighted by an amazing Ladder match between RVD and Guerrero, and Hogan's return to the Gardenafter about 9 years. The Hogan/Taker match was pretty much the identical match to the one they had at Judgement Day and no surprise I wasn't impressed.
Then yesterday I had absolutely nothing going on, so I decided to go up to Mohegan Sun to see the WWE card up there at their new Arena. It seats about 10,000 and is pretty nice. Flair/Taker was an entertaining match with both guys camping it up a bit. At one point the Taker was outside the ring and saw a girl with a camera so he struck an old-school wrestler photo pose. Brock/RVD showed how good RVD is and how much of a green rookie Brock still is. His monster push is going to go horribly wrong.
I haven't done back to back nights since the Raw/Smackdown shows at the Garden in January. But I once did 4 nights in a row. Ecw Friday night at the Elks lodge, ECW saturday afternoon in Trenton, WWF at Nassau Colliseum on sunday.
