Ok tonight I saw "A beautiful mind" (turned on after Mets were getting drilled), and I have to say that after seeing this movie that Russel Crowe got robbed at the oscars. Denzel got robbed two years ago for the Hurricane, but there is no way his role matches up to Russell's...I have seen both movies so I can easily discern the two...I guess it just proves that Hollywood stinks, doesnt it...

I have yet to see A Beautiful Mind, but i did see Training Day and I agree with you. Training Day was a nice little fluff piece of a movie, but Washington's character was one dimensional. He displayed a wider range in John Q... Denzel has had much better roles in his career for which he should have attained the Oscar. The academy should be ashamed.

agreed... russel crowe was amazing in a beautiful mind, he deserved to win. i know that he won before, and that he's not well liked, but he just plain earned it.

and, sidenote - todd wilkinson was also excellent in in the bedroom, and probably deserved the oscar more than denzel, as well

denzel should have won for malcolm x, or hurricane... its not cool to play make up
