Bret Hart suffered a mild stroke in a bicycle accident this past Monday, but since then has been listed in stable condition and is now out of danger in a Calgary hospital. Hart was riding his bike at a high speed when he hit a pot hole, then he flew forward over his handle bars and the back of his head and his neck impacted with the ground. After a series of tests, it was revealed that he suffered a stroke on the right side of his brain. One of the main reasons he retired from professional wrestling was due to the fear of suffering a stroke, which would happen if he took another hard blow to the head.
Hart was said to have made great process since Monday, but has limited control of the left side of his body. He's suffered no mental damage, but the part of the brain, which controls the ability to move the left side of his body, has been damaged. He will be going under a difficult program to relearn the ability to control his arm and leg, which means he will be in the hospital for quite a while. Hart was off machines today, which was the first day he was able to eat since his injury. Doctors are hoping that he will be able to make a full recovery.

the epitome of masculinity (yeah right)
Bret is a person wh has no good luck. Retires from wrestling for fear of having a bad bump causing a stroke and then has a bike accident causing it.
He's lost most fans respect.
He's an outcast in his own family.

I wish Bret the best. He's one of my all-time faves in the business.
He really has NO luck in life, though, does he? I blame McMahon & Goldberg for this, just cause I can.

There's a lot more to this story. Demolition member Ax is actually under investigation. Allegedly, he threw Mr. Fuji's ceremonial salt in Bret's eyes and whacked him in the back of the head with his cane causing him to lose control of his bicycle and crash. Rumor has it Bret is seeking a return match, Schwinn vs. Schwinn.

I hope that this event will give Bret some kind of revelation because im sick of seeing one of my all time favorites become such a mockery he is the biggest mark out there.By the way anybody who thinks Vince or Earl Hebner screwed Bret is nuts.Bret should have been a man and drop the belt did he really think that a guy going to WCW would be put over by his biggest enemy and that his boss would let his most meaningfull symbol be put in jeopardy.BRET SCREWED BRET!

Did you see, or perhaps hear, since it was simulcast on Ron and Fez, the show where Bret Hart tried to talk to his dead mom and brother? By now... I think I've lost all respect for him... He tried to gain 'props' for himself by selling out his mom and brother on a gimmick.
Bret: Life is not one bigggg gimmick...
