Another rock legend is gone.
John "The Ox" Entwistle was a talented bassist who rocked with "The Who" for decades. He was truly a legend.
Time to play "Boris The Spider".

Although I was never a big fan of The Who, Entwistle was really an awesome musician. He'll be missed.
I must admit I let out a huge sigh of relief when I heard "Rock star found dead" on the news and found out it wasn't Keith Richards.

By appearances, Keith Richards died years ago. He will not die again.

His bass work on "The Real Me" from Quadrophenia was especially awesome. He will be missed.

My heart is broken.
Only love
Can make it rain
The way the beach is kissed by the sea.
Only love
Can make it rain
Like the sweat of lovers'
Laying in the fields.
Love, Reign o'er me.
Love, Reign o'er me, rain on me.
Only love
Can bring the rain
That makes you yearn to the sky.
Only love
Can bring the rain
That falls like tears from on high.
Love Reign O'er me.
On the dry and dusty road
The nights we spend apart alone
I need to get back home to cool cool rain.
The nights are hot and black as ink
I can't sleep and I lay and I think
Oh God, I need a drink of cool cool rain.

Damn, the Who were still rocking to this day..remember the 9/11 Concert?

Keith Richards is the Strom Thurmond of rock stars -- everyone figured he'd be dead by now but he'll outlive them all!
I can't believe The Ox is gone. I wish I had gone to see The Who when they last toured. Guess I'll pop in "Who By Numbers" and listen to his bass solo on "Dreaming From the Waist" or listen to the early stuff that had some great harmonies with him, Roger and Pete.
