He calls it the "Styles Clash". You haven't lived until you've seen him do it from the top rope.

BTW, Mark, did you order the NWA ppv last night? The X Title match was worth the money alone. That was easily one of the best matches of North America for the entire year. Possible MOTYC.

And the Shining Wizard is a wicked fun move. I'm waiting for someone to steal it here in the States. ;)

Part of the greatness of the finishing maneuver is the setup. With that in mind, I have to go with 'Sweet Chin Music' by HBK. Just classic to see him Striking up the Band.

Yes, it's a running / jumping knee strike.

It's all in how the move is done and how it's sold. If done properly, and if the recipient sells it well, it looks cool as shit.

You can thank Keiji "Great" Mutoh for the move.

Possible MOTYC.Yes in fact I did order it because WWEFallon mentioned the MOTYC X Division Title Match. It was well worth it. That's where I saw the Style's Clash for the very first time. Did he steal it from a Japanese wrestler? He can't be that good. Where did he come from? Last time I saw him in the ring he was part of a WCW tag team and now... I think he maybe better than Jeff Hardy. Did you see the height on his twisting senton bomb?

AWESOME! F'n AWESOME!

The only problems I had with it was the first hour of crap, Cheex who doesn't deserve to be in a ring (didn't he break the ring from what I read in dirtsheets), WWE's Barbara Bush won the Miss TNA Contest, didn't get a glimpse of Daffney in her lingerie, the old fart, wannabe Debra Austin, Bobcat hitting on Jeremy "I need to stay on the internet and get off the mic" Borash, "last week's" clips on rotation and the annoying TNA cage dancers as filler.

Other than that it was great :) Was I too critical? I doubt it.

D'Lo Brown's new finisher.I have't payed attention to him recently. What's the move?

Absolutely. Like I said, easily worth the 10 bucks alone. If they keep giving us matches like that, I'll gladly throw my money at them.

I'm not sure if he stole it from a Japanese wrestler. A LOT of moves get taken from overseas, but I can't remember seeing it done over there, at least not first.

As for Styles, like Tenay said in the broadcast, he's been around 3 years or so. He's wrestled mainly in the independents, particularly having a good long run in NWA Wildside (where he had MANY great matches). Wildside was, at one time, the farm league for WCW, which is why you saw him and Air Paris as a tag team briefly in WCW before it was bought out. I personally think he's better than Hardy, but that's just me. He's awful talented. He was actually in the WWF developmentals, or rather he was going to be, but apparently they offered him a contract with very low dollar signs attached to it. He could make more working for the NWA and the indies. I'm glad he's not in the WWF, because frankly, I doubt they'd let him do half the stuff he pulls off in the ring.

General consensus from those of us who ordered / saw the PPV was that teh first hour wasn't that great. I thought Jarrett / Hall as okay (but both men looked tired & lethargic, and the ending was booked badly), and David Young vs. Apolo was good if forgettable. The Cheex thing.....REALLY disturbing. I hope to Jesus he was a one-time thing. And I agree with you, the biggest travesty of the whole show was that they didn't show Daffney in her unmentionables. That's CRIMINAL!!! ;)

But whatever problems I had with the show, the X Title made me forget it. :)

Finally someone agrees with the potential breakthouh star in this AJ Styles. Forget Jeff Hardy (sorry my lil nutty budday) but AJ Styles is the future of this business. Too bad that they haven't gotten a cable deal done. I don't think I am willing to pull out ten bucks a week.

I thought the Sky High was D-Lo's version of the Rydien Bomb.....which is not the running Lyger Bomb. (The Rydien Bomb being the "short powerbomb" that Kidman uses [well, Fat Tony always called it a "short powerbomb"].)

Either way, I dig his spinning sidewalk slam thingie too.

Sky-High is the powerbomb-like move D-Lo does. Usually started by the opponent running towards him, and he picks him up by the chest/armpits and goes into a sitdown powerbomb.

That's the very definition of a Rydien Bomb. He can call it Sky High if he wants, but it's a Rydien Bomb all the same.

Macho man randy savages "Flying Elbow Drop"

That move had impact and it was exciting. I love high impact flying moves.

I thought of a finisher that i liked alot. It was for a big man and i called it "the touch of death" Basicly it was a gorilla press holding the man over his head, then when he let go he turned it into a falling neckbreaker.
