Pre- No Smoking Area

Man, i miss being able to light up whenever i wanted!
especially in the mall(c'mon, they got like 4 story ceilings for christs sake!) and even more so in a movie theatre.
When i see a character on the screen light up a cigarette, my body is FEENING for nicotine!!!

Anybody else miss that luxury?!

I know how you feel. I quit smoking almost 3 years ago after 15 years. I still get the urge whenever I see someone light up on screen. As a reformed smoker, I'm glad that I don't have to be tempted everywhere I go. But as an ex-smoker, I know the stormtrooper attitude that the PC world has towards smokers sucks ass and is totally unfair. Most smokers are considerate of others (though of course there are assholes out there who won't think twice about absentmindedly blowing smoke in people's faces). <P>
My opinion now and when I was a smoker was that if I was stupid enough to enjoy this habit - LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE AND STOP PUNISHING ME FINANCIALLY AND OSTRACIZING ME SOCIALLY! <P>

Dude, why the fuck can't I smoke at Yankee Stadium? Its outdoors,its not like the smoke just stays there and goes in everyones face.

I saw a report done at one of the loccal malls on the most offensive/hazardous substances in the air (done to decide if the mall should go non-smoking) Cigarette smoke wasn't even in the top five. BO and perfume were. Yet the mall is nnon-smiking now. Why don't they have a non-stank-ass or non-perfume mall? Hmmm??? I guess stank-asses spend more money than smokers.

I'm a non smoker, and I even feel sorry for smokers. I agree that smokers a treated like a disease. I smoke cigars, so cigarette smoke is not much to me. But I don't smoke them all the time, so I don't feel like I'm being descriminated against. I can wait until I get home to smoke one.

When will it end. First, the Gov. taxes the SHIT out of Cigs, then passes laws to shove smokers out on the streets at most public places. But they'd NEVER outlaw it, bacause they make WAY too much $ off of the whole industry!

Smokers, you're getting bent over twice! You need to write your congress person!

The movie theatre and stadium smoke I miss. I'm considerate, never minded steppin' outside. Tell ya what though, if I'm outside minding my own business and someone walks through my smoke and says somethin, I tell em to go screw. No it's not "your airspace" and if it offends you go back inside toolboy.
