BANDS! Send in your music (on CD's ONLY, NO TAPES!) for our up and coming promotional crossover with the Ron & Fez Show to:

or email your MP3's to: ronandfez@wnew.com. You must have a band with instruments. Computer generated music WILL NOT be accepted. MAKE SURE you tell us the names of the tracks that best reflect your band. We will keep you posted on the contest as it develops!

What about my band, Into Darkness? They already have our c.d. at the studio. In fact, they played it when I talked to them on the air tonight.

And i thought i heard Jeff on the air mentioning something about submitting stuff to him.

A decision hasn't been made yet on cover vs original.

IntoDarkness, just send in your material as stated above, it will get to me.

Carter, you're opening up a pandora's box. I'm not sure if you're going to want to transfer hundreds of tapes to cd...but its your call. Officially we DO NOT ACCEPT TAPES. Its just too time consuming to deal with.

Promotional Crossover? Does this imply that the bands must allow their songs to be used on a Feztival cd or anything?

I have a few bands interested in this, but they are very protective of their music.

I emailed a song. It's a cover of C'mon And Love Me by KISS that my band did for an upcoming KISS tribute comp, but I'll mail a 3 song sampler with original stuff too.

Consider it already done. I'll E-mail my MP3 again, and mail my CD-r as well. All bases will be covered, because this is very important. The exposure that the finalists get that night in the club, and on the radio to all Ron and Fez's stations they're on makes it a great way for small bands to get their name out there.

Here's hhoping to see you there as a finalist.
