"CHOCK FULL O' NUTS"!
They were all over NYC, damn, they were great!
The donuts, the cream cheese sandwiches, the hot dogs and probably the greatest cup of coffee known to man.
Don't even get me started on "Nedicks"!

Not to mention that "jingle" eternally embedded in your mind.If you watched TV in the 60's,you're going to grave with that song.

Btw-they're still around! They have the restaurant consession at Fortunoffs.

That's why they call it "the heavenly coffee"!
Sorry. I had to say it.

I seem to recall that they had a very popular date-nut bread, or something like that.

I saw a Chock full of Nuts recently in Albany. Albany....now there's a place to spend eternity.

I had some Starbucks at a friends house tonight. I would have preferred sewage.

That stuff just makes me sick.Drinking that over priced swill is about the equivalent of downing a Slurpee or Mr Misty in 10 sec flat.
They both scew with your head(not in a good way).

It's T.V.'s fault I am this way.

Nothing beats Greek diner coffee, especially in that blue and white cup with the columns.

Best coffee I've ever had is from this little Arabic breakfast stand at 86th and Central Park West in Manhattan (NYC). And again, no kidding. I used to get it half coffee, half milk, three sugars. It was tasty.

My roomie works at Starbucks. Free coffee sure tastes great.

I think I saw a Chock Full o' Nuts place somewhere near Union Square.
