this movie licked balls
first off it goes on the theory that Bateman actually did hte murders (it was better when they made us think it might have been all in his mind)

the movie starts with a painful 10 minutes of voice overs by one of those hot chicks from that 70's show (one of hte movies 2 redeeming qualties)

its nothing more then a generic b horror flick, nothing over the top like in the first film. its only other redeeming quality is seeing William Shater in somehting besides star trek or star trek parodies. he was ok in it

and anna, the cat doesnt die, he' saved :)

AP2 was a garbage script that was laying around that they converted into a sequel.

I don't mind the concept of Bateman doing the murders, but pay attention to the fucking movie. Of all of Patrick's "victims", there is only one survivor. His secretary Jean.

I think that the theory is that the girl survived Patrick Bateman's attempts to murder her and now shes crazy, but i dont know i havent seen the film.
Did anyone read the book, because the movie is more of a dark comedy while the book is over the f'n top, especially when hes skull f'ing someone in the book

American Psycho is one of my
favorite movies of all time, but
the second one simply has no
connection to the first one. What
happened was, Lion's Gate Films
owned the rights to the title
"American Psycho" and decided
to write their own crap script and
get some crap crew together and
make the movie. It's not a book,
it's not written by or endorsed by
the writer of the first American
Psycho, it's not directed by the
same person, and it has none of
the original actors in it. Also, the
fact that it went straight to video
kinda said something about it.
So, rest assured. Everyone from
the first movie still has their
dignity. They had nothing to do
with this disgrace of a film. BUT,
look out for a movie called Rules
Of Attraction, as it has a link to
Bateman in it, and is made by the
coorupt minds who brought you
Pulp Fiction and American Psycho.
