for Al's job on the air gave me an
idea... after I made myself a
sandwich, I headed over to the
employment page at WNEW.com.

Interestingly enough, there is
nothing listed there regarding an
open position for Producer of the
Ron & Fez show. Also, all of the
job descriptions specify at the
end, "No Phone Calls!". Didn't
Ron & Fez mention on the air that
if you wanted a job, to call in and
ask? Hmmmm...

(I'm not suggesting Al still works
there, nor that he will come back
to the show, just that they may
be using this boxing match as a
cover-up for a real reason Al left
NEW. Either way, it's a damn
shame to see a guy like Al
go...good times.)

the show is never depressing. the fact that you go thru so much trouble to look for "clues" about the whole al situation, makes you depressing. yeah, like you'd get hired anyway. anyone who uses the phrase --- "interestingly enough" must be the life of the party. stick to your day job and try watching some cartoons. it'll cheer you up from all the "depression" around your life. : )

all out is way too time consuming. can't you guys
just listen and wait. if you have inside info (which i
am sure many of us dont) keep it to yourself or

Wow, some people just got the
totally WRONG idea of my post.

that I was seriously depressed
over last night's show. I guess
it's hard to read sarcasm over
the internet. Secondly, I NEVER
EVER said I would get a job
there. I wasn't even TRYING. I

see if they had listed Al's

I think you may be reading into all this a bit too much. The employment section was not updated for two reasons. A) Until the winner was decided, there was no way to know if the opening was for an Executive OR an Associate producer. B) If Jeremy wasn't %100 convinced that this wasn't a bit, then he might not have given the greenlight to update the employment section of the website. Also, the
