Favorite Non-Ice Cream Dessert? [Archive]

Since dessert is part of the meal, I was curious what you guys liked as a sweet after the meal.

I used to be a big chocolate freak, but I just got turned on to Key Lime Pie... it's really good.

In fact, it's so good, I went to Wegman's got a pie to share. Wegman's rocks.

I'm a cheesecake fanatic. Just plain cheesecake, none of that pineapple or whatever mixed inside. Sometimes I'll have cherries on top. So cheescake when I'm out to dinner, but at home, I like either oreos or pillsbury choc chip cookies and milk.

No no no. Cakes and pies are so common. They're good, but common.

I LOVE any flaky pastry dessert! I can't really spell a lot of them, and I don't even know that name of half the stuff I ate, but little elcairs, napoleons, canoles, great shit like that. And Baklava, that middle eastern/Greek dessert made of many VERY thin layers of pastry, with honey on them, and pistacios on the bottom. Anyone? THEY FUCKING DESTROY!!!!!

Cheesecake tastes like poop. I dont like it because I dont think Ive ever eaten a peice that was properly refrigerated, so whenever i see a peice of cheesecake i think of sour milk.

As for dessert I also like the brownie bottom pie that is available at any Fridays type of restaurant, even if it does contain ice cream.
