Remeber when Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard used the Spike pile Driver... then it got banned for be too "dangerous" so Heenan would distract the ref while they used it.
Earthquakes finisher was great also. When he use to jump around the guy signifying the "Tremors"

Strongbow's sleeper actually looked effective... as opposed to some of the weak submission holds you see now. Personally, I always liked George "The Animal" Steele... okay, I know he didn't have a real finishing move, but he ate turnbuckles... I loved that! And I loved Baron von Raschke's "the Claw"... it was gimmicky, but it was fun. :)

i always like Demolitions finisher... one guy would place there opponent over his knee face up. then the other would come off the second turnbuckle with an elbow... i dont know why i like it, i should hate it. my brothers knocked me out cold with it one time .... samething with the Shake Rattle and Role, honky tonk mans finisher
You my not like it... But you will learn to love it !!!!

hiya...
Kate-George "the Animal" Steele did indeed have a finisher, he used the flying hammerlock, where he'd twist your left arm behind your back and then lift, putting pressure on the forearm and wrist...usually led to a submission win...as for finishers, there's always Ric Flair's figure four (used by other greats like Buddy Rogers, Tito Santana, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, and more recently by Jeff Jarrett), Balls Mahoney's "Nutcracker Suite" (basically a huge ass Michinoku driver) and Spike Dudley's Acid Drop (or Dudley Dog...damn the WWF sometimes...)...my fave from a spectator angle would have to be Rey Misterio Jr.'s top rope-hurancurana-tuck-hook legs-into a pinning predicament move...he performed it with such ease and quickness that the first time seeing it, I had to rewind the tape 4 times just to figure out how the hell he did it...
It's not funny, my ass is on fire...

Hey Kate, being from the midwest,do you remember Verne Gagne and Nick Bockwinkle?
Back in the old days, wrestling was regional, and NY was WWWF(notice the 3 w's!)
territory. Once in a while, wrestlers from other regions would tour around the country.
I think that you lived in NWA territory. Wow, a chick who digs wrestling! Kate, you rock babe!;)

I liked the Razor's Edge, just cause Razor Ramon was great, he was oozing machismo, you gotta love that.

Hello all, new to the board so I'll start off with a hello.
Favorite finisher, I'll have to go with either the million dollar dream, the kudoh driver(shane helms vertebraker), or
the camel clutch. On a side note I saw the Iron sheik at Chiller convention and he would put you in the camel clutch and take a picture for like 20 bucks. God thats sad.
