i met this girl online oine day no big dealie meet em all the time right? but she told me she lives in rochester but she was moving to manhattan the week after but she didn't. instead she invited me over there her treat.well i have sent her my pic and she seems to dig me a lot but....i haven't seen her pic yet! i leave in like a week and i don't know what she looks like she has promised lots and lots of fun buti don't know how she looks though she is a very nice girl so i'll probably end up going but i'd like to hear some opinoins would u go if presented with the same proposition?

Now the almost foolproof plan of meeting in a public place, knowing what she'll be wearing, then being able to walk out with total anonymity if she weighs a deuce fitty.

You COULD still do that...but you'd have to have her meet you outside somewhere...a bar or something...then give her the ol' driveby...drive by and check out who's standing outside, then hightail it if she looks like chewbacca.

i agree with pooter, always do the walk or driveby. But if you tend to be a nice guy like I am and would feel too guilty standing her up...there's nothing wrong with hanging out once, doesn't make you obligated to anything ya know? But still do the drive by before making a decision..trust me ;)

looks don't really matter much as long as you like hanging out with her. My exgf lived about an hour from rochester and we went out for 2 years so things can work, ya never know.

Well I totally agree with that her looks really don't matter.. if you like her, well just go for it..

but maybe it's cause I'm a girl and cause I don't really trust alot of people, but I would like to know who I'm going to meet.. not that it will change anything, you can still end up with making a date with somebody who turns out to be a complete psycho..
