Ok. I've held off a while but I
can't hold off any longer, I must
bring up my favorite topic... the
Martini. I'd like to hear some of
your favorite martini recipes.
Vodka or Gin? Olive or Twist?
Dirty or Neat? Dry or sloppy Wet?
Rocks or Up (Although I have to
say that I don't consider a
martini on the rocks a REAL
martini but I have known people
to drink them)?
My favorite recipe is:
3oz of straight Stolichanaya
Razberi chilled to absolute zero
(or as close as you can get). Up
with a twist.
Martini's are like breasts... One is
not enough... Three is just too
many.
My favorite recipe is:
3oz of straight Stolichanaya
Razberi chilled to absolute zero
(or as close as you can get). Up
with a twist.
How's the interior decorating industry these days?
I prefer a vodka gibson, which is the same 'cept with pearl onions instead of olives. I like my gin martinis dry, made with either bombay sapphire or tanqueray No. 10, dirty and with three olives. For vodka, I'll take them with a good potato vodka like Chopin.. has a nice full taste to it. No serious drinker has their martini on the rocks.

My drink of choice (and I choose it quite often) is the Bombay Sapphire Gibson. It's a martini made with Bombay Sapphire gin, but with cocktail onions instead of olives.
Yum Yum.

3 oz. gin or vodka (either one is fine) dash of vermouth swirled in the glass (preferably Cinzano dry) 1 pimento stuffed olive (queen size) Vodka - Grain vodka only. I don't like potato vodka. Grey Goose, Absolut or Stoli.

Gin - Beefeater, Bombay Sapphire or Boodles.

Okay, take one Supersize 32-ounce McDonald's cup. Pour in Bombay gin. Glare at the bottle of dry vermouth. Add a shave of lemon peel, then flip in a few ice cubes. Repeat.
