Final Fantasy Remakes

I heard a while ago that there may be remakes of Final Fantasy 7-9. I would personally love to get 7! I mean if they made this game with PS2 graphics and extra features and side quests taken away from the japanese game. It would be so cool. I doubt it will happen but I would love to see this. Would anyone else like to see this?

The only remake officially announced is FF Tactics for the GBA.

There are DVDs being released in Japan about all the FF games. 4 DVD box set.
