I think its hilarious. They are purposely making the show unlistenable.

Whatever you may think about them, it takes balls to purposely tank a radio program in the largest radio market in America - just to make a point.

And they are making sure that they go out in flames. I respect that.

I didn't really hear last Friday, but today I tuned in for a minute. And yes, it's more of the same.

I bombarded their Instant Feedback with complaints and profanity, hoping to piss them off, but I forgot. They're such faggots that they don't read it, OR take unscreened calls.

let's compare ronfez.net to east germany:

in east germany, no one could say anything bad about the government for fear of being killed -- the government thought that the uterrance of anything negative would destort their image and their of cards will shatter.

in ronfez.net no one is allowed to say anything bad about o&a and r&f because "the owners" of the board will fear that the popularity of those shows will dwindle and this, in some way, will affect them. excuses they give for banning/editing negative comments include: "we're a friendly bunch and we don't like argument." but, if one continues, one would see that such arguments are hypocritical as negative arguments about the don and mike show are routinely encouraged.

any hoot, i don't like censorship and i don't like those who use it to remain in power.

You're allowed to say anything you want here. But when you try to start a fight, or invite people to ban you with inflammitory comments, you just might get banned.

1) why not show SOME fucking profesionalism and put on a good show for the small amount of fans you have mustered in the past 2 years before your kicked off the air

2) spiting one market and fucking up the show for the other syndictated markets is just so stupid, and IF i was a fan of there show I would be pissed

3) Aren't they new in Philly??? is this a good way to ensure you do well in your new market

I have to correct you on this point. They havent sucked for months, try the two long years that they have been here in NY. I have tried time and again to listen to them. I have tried, as a result of the endorsement of Opie and Anthony. ("Ohhhhh Opie and Anthony do nothing for us"). I have to quote Opie: "At least the Radio Chick pulled in at least a 2 rating every book".

Now this place is not East Germany you doink...You are very free to speak your mind as you have done so now. It seems like you are begging to be banned. So for that reason I say to the mods to keep this idiot here. This is the US, and if there is a problem the problem will be dealt with. If you sat down and thought about the signifigance of this "on-air" battle, you would see why Don and Mike are doing this. The two assmunchers are actually quite smart. They're gonna keep bitching and moaning about shows that are better than them, so the fans of those shows will listen to them everyday to hear the latest on their mindless rants. If this keeps up, they may have better numbers in the upcoming ratings book.

This is all just a ploy to ensure the growth of their show by annoying others and tricking them to listen to their show. It's that simple.
