This could be one of the most anticipated matches ever. Al Vs Rory at Big Ass Night of Fights 3, Loser Leaves Town match! If Al wins Rory quits his job, if Rory wins Al quits his job. There is so much riding on this fight, lives are at stake here! Al's years of schooling to become what he is today, all comes down to a boxing match. Rory's struggle and hard work to become a producer in market number 1 is on the line. Can Al prove to the world that he is and always will be Ron and Fez's head producer? Or will Rory humiliate Al one last time in front of the millions of Ron and Fez fans? Who will take that final walk of shame out of the WNEW building? Who will raise there hand in victory and prove to be the greatest fighting producer of all times? We'll have to wait till The Big Ass Night of Fights 3! GOD DAMN the suspense is killing me!

Come on, if you're not jacked up for this one then there's something wrong with you.

Plus I dont think Al is going to go into this fight unprepaired. Al has alot riding on this fight, and so does Rory. This fight is going to be one of the most exciting things to happen on radio in a long time.

Now I dont want to scare Al, but i've seen Rory fight. Rory took 3 spine busters onto a bare wood floor, got his head put threw a wall, and STILL got up for more without even blinking. He's a maniac when it comes to fighting. When Rory was saying he is going to kill Al....he meant it.

"Millions" of R&F listeners? Feh, surely you meant "BILLIONS"...

And as cool as it would be, neither of them will leave after the fight. Al's already got another excuse lined up in his drunkeness and he won't let that go. Rory will just use his millions to build a giant thermal-molten laser to hold the world at ransom until he gets his job back.

By the way, did Al say something about Rory getting gold bars from his dad? I was pretty beyond half-drunk at that point, but whatever was said strikes me as the funniest thing I hear between two of them...

Ultimately, if there's any cosmic justice, this fight will end as both Rory and Al really want it to: both of them being producers of the show, on equal footing, united by work...and by love.

One thing on "Boondocks" and then I'll let it rest so the thread doesn't get locked...I actually enjoy the comic. But I don't find it funny, as most seem to claim it is. It's smart, profound, on-the-button, and above all things, current and topical. It's just whenever I hear people ranting about it, they're almost screaming how "hilarious" it is, and I just don't see that. It's like a perfect meld of 70's-early 80's "Doonesbury" and "Calvin & Hobbes", just without the hilarity. Go figure.

Oh dear. So it's official. Al's agreed to it sober. And though I don't know Rory and he seems like a nice guy but it's strange I feel bad for both fo them.

First off Al doesn't have 25 hours of training, he has 25 hours and 50 seconds of training. That 50 seconds might make the difference between Rory being really hurt and Rory being killed by Mr. Fabulous. Those 25 hours and change will bring about the down fall of the rich Hamptons. sad, really sad.


Seriously though I am not not a fan of Al and have defended on numerous occasions. I feel bad for him, he let his pride get the best of him and it will cost him a lot.

As has been talked about, if he does lose he is likely to tie the show and staiton up with legal battles to keep his job and should realize if this goes down if he needs to get legal involvement to KEEP his job, it's not a job worth keeping. I mean after all though the physical manifestation of his Masters exists, it's spirit lives on - like a Jedi.

I won't be surprised if Al accuses Rory of bribing the judges and ref when the outcome is decided.

Rory has been more and more unbearable with his whole "See I'm better than Al" thing. Every one in the goddamned world knows Al is a loser. What I DIDN'T know was that Rory was an elitist prick. Hearing him talk about the people in "The Hamptons" made me ill. He's believing his own hype.
