I've come in with original art, and also picked flash off the boards. I see nothing wrong with either. maybe it's just me, but i dont need my tattoos to symbolize anything. if i like a piece of ink, i'll get it. Do your earlings symbolize something in your life? i find tattoos ornamental. perhaps even an extension towards my attitude towards the norm.
But lemme get this off my chest...
I DO get offended when people say ink is ugly. Whether it's specific pieces, or lack of a symbolic gesture.
My tattoos are part of me. calling my ink ugly is calling me ugly.
I'd like to see someone, just for once, say that to someones face who's covered in tattoos.
my guess, they'll walk away with a temporary piece on their face, shaped like a hand or bootheel.
