"How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?" Memorable commercial made even more memorable by Lil Kim's brilliant use of it in a recent hit song.

"Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce
Special orders don't upset us
All we ask is that you let us
Serve it your way
Have it your way at Burger King"
Rhyming "lettuce" with "let us" = brilliant.

Ha, I used to like that one too! I don't know why but I liked the old Carvel commercials (just in Jersey I think) What was the name of that cake with the ice cream cone as a nose? He was cute....:)
I know this isn't a TV or an old commercial, but I miss the Raceway Park commercials...I used to hate them but now they make me miss home. ::sniff, sniff::

We got the Carvel commercials in CT too. There are two distinct "commercial voices" I remember from my childhood: Tom Carvel and Crazy Eddie. Those spots were always on Channels 5 and 11 from NYC.
As for the cake with the cone for a nose -- I can see it but I don't remember the name. I DO remember Fudgie the Whale ("for a whale of a Dad")!

I've always enjoyed that M&M's commercial where the M&M dudes are eating M&M's. Nice & disturbing.

The dude did sue but lost. One of the reasons he lost was because he bought most of the points from other people. The other reason was the most obvious...
