I just started watching the NBA when the playoffs started and the Nets really impressed me on Sunday. Too bad their going down tonight.

p.s. The Celtics are a 3-point shooting team, it's what they do.

Kobe's a prick. I hate his smug attitude.

I hope so! I think they have a small chance if they keep the pace of the game up, and everything goes their way. All the calls, shots, bounces, free throws... It has to be meant to be! Go Nets!! I HATE the Lakers...

new jersey has no chance in hell of beating the lakers. now if the kings beat the lakers, the nets match up very well with that team and wouldn't be shocked if they won that series.

WANTED: a show-related sig.

I'm, not so sure how McCulloch and Van Horn match up with Kobe and Shaq, otherwise I would say yes without a doubt in my mind. I think that they have enough talent to bring the series to 6 or 7 but their winning depends on getting Shaq in foul trouble early and often and keeping Kobe moving so that he can't get into a comfortable rhythm.

NJ Net fan since day one. At least since the days of the mighty Drazen.

The Nets can, and will beat the Celtics. The series will go to 6 or 7 games. The keys are Kidds performance being consistent, Van Horn making his shots, and Martin being a rebounding machine. Another very important factor is the Nets bench. When the Nets bench (Jefferson, Harris, Williams, etc.) plays well - the Nets win.

The Lakers? They are huge. The match-ups will be lop-sided and strange, but the speed and the Nets fast-breaks can create momentum that could surprise the Lakers. And the Nets could always get that O' Neil character in a heap of foul trouble.

I hope NJ steps it up. They came a long way since last year. It's time NJ represents!
