Therapy

I see a therapist like once every two weeks and she gave me homework for this week. She wants me to make a list of 10 things I like about myself and 10 things I want to door go in my lifetime. How come I can't think of anything? Is it that I'm having a bad day, or am I a truly terrible person....argh...

How come I can't think of anything?
I can relate because I used to have a very low self esteem. When someone would ask me to name my good qualities i would feel very uncomfortable. I think it was b/c i had to compliment myslef. I felt like I was being selfish. Myabe you're having trouble with the homework b/c you feel uncomfortable thinking ONLY of yourself and your dreams. Give your self some love and sit down and try to think about it, even if it is hard! :) You're a beautiful person sweetie!

that is a great idea for her to give you that assignment! but don't you dare ask us for ideas. the whole point is for you to look inside yourself and find things that you really like, to boost your esteem. If we do it for you, then the exercise was pointless.
