He looks ridiculous.

I'm not sure Affleck can pull off "tortured" that DD really is. Lovesick, yes ("Chasing Amy"); drunk and surly, sure. But he strikes me as too "fratboy-slick" for a character who should be haunted. Too much of the gregarious, not enough edge.

Affleck is a good actor so I say wait and see. Remember, nobody liked Tobey as Spiderman and now I can't imagine anyone else playing him.

My first choice for DD was always Mat Damon. If you see him in Rounders he plays the shy lawyer part well. Can anyone with half a brain explain the choices for Kingpin and Elecktra?? I'm a black man but I am so utterly offended at the choice for Kingpin I could SPIT. And as far as Elecktra, the chick from Alias isn't all that hot so how come she got the not to play the sex kitten/killing machine Elecktra?

I think that his chin is what bother's me the most. He needs to donate some of that chin to Jim Norton.

I think that he'll play the Matt Murdoc role very well, but I have not evidence of him as an action star.

nice, affleck looks good in a superhero outfit. he definantly wasn't my first pic of DD though, but i'm just hoping they don't butcher the story too much (like x-men)
and stay true to the original story (like spiderman)
