Tommy Dreamer: WWE's Jackass?

Now from the first vignette of what looks like some sort of a cross between MTV's Osbournes and Jackass on WWE Raw in Toronto this past Monday, Tommy Dreamer will be marketed as some sort of freak?

Anyway to get on tv. right?

For those who did not see this, I'll hit you all up with a rundown. First it opens with a parental advisory warning then he proceed to brush his dogs teeth and then uses it himself. Then he shaves his tongue with shaving cream. Furthermore he is shown conversing with other superstars by the urinals and then decides to drink the urinal water because "it's colder."

Alrighty so does anyone feel he'll get over this way? Dumber gimmicks have gotten over! What's next, he'll get in a port-a-potty and let it flip over by utilizing a garbage truck? ." Or maybe let him wear a suit of beef jerky and lock him in a room with Mark Henry, TBS and Rikishi? *scratches head* That actually sounds interesting.

I'd rather have him in a series of matches with Raven over the Hardcore Title and changing it to the Extreme Title (I'm not talking about that crappy WCW Hardcore Title either). Throw the matches later in the night, probably last half hour of Raw with the main event so alot of the kiddies are asleep and bring back HARDCORE dammit! Not too much to ask.

So, smash or trash the new Tommy Dreamer?

I say trash it because tommy dreamer is the most underutilized wrestler they have. your telling me all this time he was there, he hasnt been working on any new moves? Theyre wasting a talented wrestler with a crappy gimick.

Now i see that raw is turning into the old wcw nitro!

i like it. tommy is still too battered to be a full time wrestler. his body can't take it. this way at least the wwe is utilizing him.

i heard that those were the kind of things Dreamer used to the in the ECW locker room so i guess the WWE is utilizing attributes of his real character to help give him a semi push. of course he'll never be no Planet Stasiak <P>

I totally agree. I have been a fan of Tommy Dreamer for years, and can only hope the WWF finds a way to use him more. A feud with Raven , Tazz (If he ever gets out from behind the announcers table.) or another former ECW star would be great.

Jay_C... good, someone agrees with me. Well remember Tazz is "exclusively" on Smackdown! so if there are no trades in the near future he will be permanently attached to the announcers table like those stupid monitors.

Mark, I've got tape of an awesome match between Tommy Dreamer and ? in a scaffolding match in ECW. (If you remember it, it was the tape with the Kimona Wanalaya striptease and the "battle of the Bam-Bams" Bigelow vs. Terry Gordy. It is an awesome tape, I jsut have to remember where it is in my room. He truly is the most underrated and underused wrestler in the fed- bar none.

Unless you are talking about the monitors in the Spanish announcers table- they get tossed around all the time...
