Let's break this year (2002) in half! The first half is between <b>Spider-Man</b> and <b>Star Wars Episode 2</b>.

The second half is between <b>Lord Of The Rings</b> and <b>Harry Potter</b>.

<b>First Half</b>
I give the first half to <b>Spider-Man</b>. Just look at the opening weekend numbers. No one in Hollywood thought that was possible. Word of mouth is incredible.

<b>Epsode 2:</b> Been there done that! Yes I know that Star Wars has legions of fans. I'm one of them. But allot of people were disapointed with the first movie and some of them might not go back for <b>E2</b>.

<b>Spider-Man</b>? New and different (to the big screen). <b>E2</b>? Stick that lightsaber up your...

<b>Second Half</b>
This one's a no-brainer.
<b>Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers</b> win hands down! I was so pissed at the end of <b>LOTR 1</b>,for ending just when I felt the movie was starting, that I can't for the sequel! The FX were heavy and original. Those black hooded skeletons were too cool and could've made a helluva cover for an Iron Maiden album back in the day. This movie left some lasting impressions on me. I'll be the first in line when <b>LOTR: The Two Towers</b> comes out.

<b>Harry Potter</b> was cool as hell. those FX were very impressive. The chess game blew me away. I wish I had a blanket that made me invisable. The things I would do. Sorry. This movie will make money but not enough to beat <b>LOTR:The Two Towers</b>!

Spider-Man definitly gets it for the first half, best movie ever made. Star Wars might accidently do better because of the retards who go to see it 25 times a day because they forgot how it ended the last 24 times. but Spider-Man is still the better movie.

As for LOTR and Harry Pothead, personally i have no interest or intention in seeing either of the two films so i really dont care.

spiderman is going to be there in the long run, Epsiode 2 has a run for its money. When is comes to around december these are going to be the top three

1. lord of the rings 2
2 Harry Potter 2
3. Star trek Nemesis
But for the entire year it going to be
1.lord of the rings 2
2. star wars episode 2
3. Spiderman
4.harry potter 2
5. Star Trek Nemesis

I totally forgot about Star trek: Nemesis! I was tempted to go see E2 tonight but I couldn't find my Chewbacca costume.

Ironically, Cameron was originally supposed to direct this film, then when Titanic did what it did, he was suddenly "Too Good" to do a "comic book movie" feh....

And will people please not bash EpII until they've actually seen it? (I'd also prefer you read the book, too, but I won't split hairs... :-) )
