I'm sure a lot of you will be overjoyed to hear this, though I never hated Bill Maher that much, and used to watch the show a lot (more when it was on Comedy Central). I didn't always (well, usually) agree with Maher, but I had no problem with him speaking his mind, and even if he did get a bit righteous sometimes, it helped make the discussions more lively.

Taking his slot after datline is a new talkshow with Jimmy Kimmel from the man show, I think it will be pretty cool. Thank god Maher is gone he is a damn asshole liberal shmuck.

What's the concept for the Jimmy Kimmell show?

My only problem with Politically Incorrect was the fact they chose an Iron Chef-like panel...One smart person, two dumb people, and another person who adds nothing but a filled seat.

I understand that no one would watch the show if it was a mildly funny McLaughlin Group at night, but really, who wants to hear Claire Daines talk about our foreign policy?

Maybe the show would have succeeded if it truly was "politically incorrect"; in the end, it was just another boring show dominated by a loud-mouthed no-nothing host.

I don't think I'm alone on this one, but I loved the show, but I hate Bill Maher. I like the concept; get celebrities to talk politics, but I didin't agree with a lot of what he had to say. He has every right to speak his mind, but the show was more about his propaganda than any good point the other side could make. Whenever his opponent started to have him on the run it was "We have to go to commercials!" I think my favorite PI's were the ones with Arsenio and Nugent. There was also this Republican congressman who is the biggest warhawk. I can't remember his name.
