My sister just told me that she on one of those entertainment show that abc is cancelling the job and spin city is that true, can any one confirm this info.

In yet another brilliant programming move, ABC TV has given the heave-ho to police dramadey series 'THE JOB' which starred Denis Leary, Lenny Clarke, and Ant's pal, Adam Ferrara. What is it about television stations the point is to make money with good show like the job and married with childern*(when it was on the air), but it seem they don't when to end a show (x-files) Which show is next Titus. If both Titus and the job are cancelled maybe the comdey central will have the brains to pick up both shows. Or there is always taking to cable like HBO or showtime or TNN

I can't believe that the job is cancelled! If Titus gets cancelled I hote that Comedy Central gets both shows that would rock!

24, Grounded for Life will be back and Andy Richter's show will be a mid-season replacement.

Malcome in the Middle is moving to 9pm on Sundays. So Fox is going with three hours of comedies that night starting with Futurama at 7pm.

Fox cancelled Titus that was one of couple shows I love to watch. Is Fox stupid getting rid of a show like that. Hopefully comdey central or another cable channel picks up Titus, I wouldn't be surprised special unit 2 is cancelled as well.

OH MY GOD! how in gods name can you cancel titus...and if greg the bunny is gone too then im not gonna watch anything on tv but wrestling and sports
oh and six feet under and the sopranos of course. see that is why hbo is smart. they keep there cult shows...like OZ you dont see that beaming up the ratings charts but they still held onto it because the people that do watch it ALWAYS watch it.

The thing with the Job and a show like 3rd Watch is hard to maintain any semblance after what happened on 9/11 unfortunately they are the types of shows to get cancelled. And the reason shows like Family Guy and such get cancelled and Oz from HBO doesnt is because HBO does not sell ad space for the show like networks have to. What hurts T.V. is they have to edit out langauge that is offensive, and a show about cops without foul langauge is just garbage. that is why more people tune into The Shield is because they are allowed more levity with langauge and violence.
But the bottom line is if these shows drew dick in the ratings then they would still be on at least for the established shows. Cancelling some shows after one season or 8 episodes is dumb just look how bad Cheers did at first or some of those shows but they were allowed to develop because the ratings were not as important in the 80's as they are now

Basically all the shows I watch on tv are now cancelled, I can delete 5 from the preset on the remote now. More and more reading and the net are starting to be more interest than TV

I know it sucks quality wise but hopefully this answers your questions. the NBC shows suck, the Twilight Zone show is being hosted by Forrest Whitaker of all people, all the CBS dramas are essentially CSI rip offs.

I watched every episode of the Job the first season, but I missed it this year. ABC really didn't give it enough publicity and a great show like that should have begun in September or October.
