My grandparents always smell like they slept in a pirate's chest. They either stink of cedar chips or mothballs. The thing is, I never, ever, saw the mothballs or the mysterious cedar smelling "stuff" that gave them that, oh so old smelling scent.

Here is the point. At what point (age) does an older person say, "Hey, I need to get the fuck down to Stop 'n Shop and buy some moth balls and cedar stuff for my clothes!"

Geez...I am dreading that day.

Topped. This thread came and went too damn fast and I think it's funny. And just for the record I smell like Ben Gay and Old Spice.

Interesting. This is a subject very seldom talked about.Subconciously I think we all know we're destined to have what I've always refered to as "The smell of old people".

How do you get it?When do you get it?....and why?My theory is that at some point in your life showers don't become as important as they used to be(due to lack of interest). What I mean is,you probably don't care what people around think(of your essence)and you probably also think you just don't need one because you haven't physically moved enough to work up a sweat.

I dunno, just theories.Yet amazingly true."The smell of old people" is just another milestone us carbon forms seem to accomplish during our lives.

Jeeze, what the hell else is out there waiting for me!?

Well you have to get the moths to fly around alot in humid weather. then spread thier little legs you'll smell them.
