ok ok ok..I only know of one barber who does it....I love getting a shave and haircut its great i love getting that straight edge razor shaving my face..i dont know any other guys like them...or since its so rare to find a barber anymore who does that any body know of another barber who does?

not sure if he still does but a stylist/barber named Tino who worked at Michael Anthony's in Jersey City on Newark Ave used to give a hell of a straight-edge shave...
he would use the hot towel and hot lather treatment and would actually shave you twice...
it was just a shame though that the next day you had stubble again, but it was well worth it...
haven't been to Tino in approx 10 years...

I still go to a REAL barber shop - The reading material is Penthouse and Playboy, everyone smokes cigarettes, and there are no dames to be found in there. The language used would make a sailor blush, and yes, you get a shave with a straight razor, too.

Camillo's Barbershop here in DC does that. A couple of older paisans run the place. Reminds me of back home in CT.

I love getting it done, its a great when the towel hits your face, I love it but it seems to be in my case harder to find, i think its alot of old timer barbers that still do it....<sigh> so maybe there a dieing breed
