i was just listening to their cd, source tags and codes, and i just felt compelled to post... they are amazing. the music is not only really innovative and creative, and they are super talented, but it's GOOD. often i find that bands who are trying to sound different succeed in that, but not in necessarily being good or something i'd want to listen to. plus, i hear they put on a great live show (they rocked on craig kilborn, anyway). and need i even mention the name? goddamn great name

any other trail of dead fans out there?

i must admit, i am impressed by the obscurity level of your muscial tastes. I look for some of these bands on bearshare and such after you mention them and they are nowhere to be found :(
