Anyone ever see this movie? It stars Willem Defoe and Sean Patrick Flanery and a bunch of B-level actors including Ron Jeremy. Its about 2 brothers who go vigilante and kill a bunch of mobsters and scumbags in Boston. This movie rocked so hard, and it comes out on DVD on May 21. I recommend you check it out.

"Now you will receive us."
"We do not ask for your poor or your hungry."
"We do not want your tired and sick."
"It is your corrupt we claim."
"It is your evil that will be sought by us."
"With every breath we shall hunt them down."
"Each day we will spill their blood until it rains down from the sky."
"Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace."
"These are not polite suggestions. These are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost."
"There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over into true corruption, into our domain."
"But if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day, you will repent."
"And we will send you to whatever god you wish."

"And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, My Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be."
"In nomine patrie..."
"et fili..."
"et spiritu sancti."

I like the movie a lot.&nbsp; My brother saw me watching it and said something like &quot; This movie blows.&quot;&nbsp; and&nbsp;I said I liked it, and then he said &quot;Willam Dafoe is in this movie?&quot;&nbsp; and it was the dumbest thing anyone who had seen a movie before had ever said about said movie.&nbsp;<img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/wallbash.gif" border="0" />

The way Rudolph is to people during Christmas, that's the way Boondock Saints is for me and St. Patricks day. Watch that, get drunk, nice pre-game to an evening of more drinking. Unfortunately, gotta work this year, so I'm starting when I get home at 7 am.

FUCK, the topic, right. A sequel to Boondock Saints might be alright, but without Rocco, I dunno.

After the long, long decade of rumors, combined with many refusals to believe it was true, as well as my consistent coverage of this project all year, the massively desired sequel Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day has officially begun filming in Toronto. How can this be anything but a complete failure?

You mean expectation-wise or money-wise? Cause I expect it to suck pretty hard, but its got such a cult following going for it, I bet it makes some decent coin.

Cult movies don't make bank, but they tend to be done on the cheap, which is how they manage to be profitable.

I saw Boondock Saints for the first time late last year. It was entertaining, and though I didn't feel the need to buy it on dvd or find it to be the life changing experience some people seem to claim it is, I'll watch the sequel when it's on cable.

Agreed. I don't really have a problem with it because if it's got the original cast and is halfway decent, I'm down to see this.

Yeah, but now this movie has that devout audience who acts like it was a cinematic masterpeice, I gotta expect them to go see this movie when it comes out, even if it's shit.

I was reading something that says it takes place 10 days after the original.

How are they gonna do that? You know the two kids are gonna look older, and probably fatter. And Billy Connolly is ancient (well, he always looked prety old I guess).
And Rocco is HUGE, man. I don't even know how he's gonna be in it.

I liked the first one a lot. I guess I'll check this one out when it's released straight to DVD.
