i know he's been mentioned elsewhere in other threads within this forum but, damn, i just had to. i've been listening to peter murphy (mostly solo, with a little bauhaus) all last night and most of today and i am just amazed. what an unbelievable voice... so talented... a beautiful, beautiful man. i am so excited that i am going to finally get to see him next month!

so, come on people, show your peter murphy appreciation here...

GOT MY TIX! Peter Murphy is *GOD*! His voice so moves me.

On a slightly more serious note, I wish I could meet him so I can tell him how much his music helped me deal with my dad's death. I was all of 20 and just got so into the goth scene. Bauhaus (and Anne Rice) really made death seem "beautiful" and "pristine" in an odd way.

I've also wanted to always "do it" to a continuous loop of "Bela Lugosi's Dead." K, maybe that's a little wierd...
