Bob Kraft is widely believed to be one of the NFL owners lobbying for an AFL franchise. Right now, the only NFL owners really set in stone are Dan Snyder (Washington), William Ford (Detroit), and Jerry Jones (Dallas.) Only Dallas and Detroit have teams that are playing this season. Washingto is expected to play in 2003 or 2004 depending on what happens with the MCI Center. The rest of the owners are kinda iffy and they want to see how it does on NBC next season.

I met Michael Irvin (An announcer for Dallas) in the press box at the game last night. He was a nice guy, but I kept trying not to laugh. All I could think of was Jim Rome's nickname for him; "Huggybear". :)

We didn't talk about football. It was actually really casual. We just sat there and watched the Mavs-Kings game before the Dragons game and talked basketball.
