Oh HELL yeah! I remember thinking PIX was the coolest thing ever. And for some reason, I can still remember the giveaway prizes; A pair of GoldDigger Jeans and the newest board game from Taga Rann "In the Chips New York". pixpixpixpixpix.

For Gaia and others, I'm sure...WPIX channel 11 here in NYC had an afterschool "gameshow" where contestants would call in and voice-control a video game in real time. The game would only respond to the word "pix, " (the stations call letters). For example if u were playing space invaders (altho i dont remember the games being THAT good), each time u said "pix". u would fire a shot at the aliens. Some people timed their "pix"es carefully to adjust their targets, but most kids just kept saying "PIXPIXPIXPIXPIXPIX". Hey--they brought back the yule log..maybe theyll bring back this deal.

Yeah that was awesome. This topic got kicked around a bit a few months back. The games were actually Intelivison games. They had a shoot'em game, a football game and ......... not sure what else.
