i finally sat down and watched EPISODE#1 last night,and i now know why the dumb fuck named JAR-JAR BINKS is hated with passion.i would like to know what GEORGE LUCAS was thinking about when he came up with the idea.just had to get that off my chest now i am off to eat my turkey sandwich.

Yeah, me and a buddy of mine played the Episode I drinking game where you drink everytime Jar Jar ruins the movie. It's pretty much everytime he opens his mouth. I got sick from drinking in the first 40 minutes. <P>

George Lucas did it just to prove he could have a completely digital character in a movie. At least in Episode 2 he's supposed to have a much smaller part as a Senator.

On the contrary. I heard that Jar has an annoyingly long speech and that it was done on purpose to show SW fans that Jar is here to stay.

I heard that his first appearance was supposed to be a response to his critics and that he had a major role in the storyline, but he would have significantly less screen time. It's not going to be like in Episode 1 where he was practicly on the screen for 80% of the movie.

Yeah, this topic IS a little late. But hey, I just saw Spiderman today (talk about procrastination! lol)..Anyway, I heard the reason he even came up with JarJar was so the movie would appeal to his kids. I guess they like crappy cartoons. Lets just hope he (Lucas) doesnt F up episode II.

I bought the boot-leg copy of episode II. First off, it was very clear & the sound was very good for a bootleg, no camcorder at a theatre or people talking.

But anyway, Jar-Jar is in 3 scenes, 2 in the beginning and 1 in the middle, all lasting less the three minutes each. Overall, I find it to be a the same calibur as Empire strikes back. Its great and its a definate improvement from episode I. I shall say no more than that.

I will be the most powerful Jedi EVER!!!!!
