Maybe they're justtrying to build hype for it. You know like tease 'em a little, wait for the buzz to start, then release the book. I'm looking forward to the movie. I hope that Harry Potter kid doesn't grow up that fast. Because then he'll look freaky. When he gets older you know he'll be using his Harry Potter fame to get laid. Then again look at the Home Alone Kid. :( *sigh

i think rowling has writers block. that and the fact that her books are all ginormous and each one keeps getting bigger. we may never see it. :(

I just read the first one and I actually liked it. (Didn't think I would) So I have a little time to catch up to the 5th book. I saw a tiny bit of her Biography. Did you know she already has the last chapter written of the last Harry book? She wrote it a long time ago and has it waiting. She also said the next book will have a little more hormones and Harry will find out a lot more about his past. I can't beleive I'm getting into these books...never expected it!

Hey be nice.... i read a lot at my job and these books help to pass the time. they are funny and some how i got fucking hooked on them.. oh well...

There is speculation that the increasingly darker tone of Rowling's books might have given her pause, especially following the terrorist attacks of September 11, and led to reworking preconceived ideas for the fifth volume.

I doubt that, because from all interviews she's ever done, she hasn't seemed to care about the dark tone or what anyone thinks of the dark tone. Even current events that people have brought up in relation to the dark tone of her books don't matter to her, so I doubt 9/11 does.most probably she's just having trouble with the plot as any writer would, and of course, it is building up hype too.

Aggie, I was totally surprised when I got into the books too.I haven't read one in a long time though, since there is that huge delay.

And hopefully she doesn't have Harry and Hermione get together.Ron and her are destined to be together, in my opinion.
